Ko je Blejski Vintgar še zaprt in v dolini že pomlad, je s kolesom najlepše okoli Homa v Zgornje Gorje in na Bled. Tako Podhomski rob (oltar Gorenjske, kot ga je imenoval naš največji pesnik Prešern), kot ČEBELARSKA UČNA IN RAZGLEDNA POT v Gorjah nudi lep razgled na blejski kot, na Karavanke, Jelovico. in proti Radovljici.

Za kolesarjenje je bilo ravno prav toplo, za čebele pa še ne. Zato je po čebelarski učni poti lepše peš in čas primernejši poleti. Pred gostilno Kurej ( odlični prgarski štruklji) v Zasipu zavijemo desno in peljemo do Mož, kjer zavijemo levo. Na koncu hiš asfalt preide v makadam, ki se dviga do Svete Katarine (634 m).

Tu zavijemo desno v smeri slapa (smerna tabla) in se nato spustimo do Radovne pri slapu Šum.

Mimo elektrarne čez most se pot dvigne do pokopališča v Blejski Dobravi . V Blejski Dobravi sledimo oznakam za vstopno točko v Vintgar. Pri zadnji hiši asfaltna pot preide v gozdno, ki se vzpenja do klopi ob info tablah in spomeniku pokojnemu nad sotesko. Za spominsko ploščo sledi spust do vstopa v Vintgar in kratek vzpon do Podhoma.

Tu nadaljujemo v smeri Bleda po cesti, ki pelje naprej v Spodnje Gorje. Ko se začne cesta spuščati zavijemo desno na čebelarsko učno pot (oznaka), ki gre skozi Višelnico, Mevkuž in konča v Zgornjih Gorjah pri odcepu za Grabče.
